About the Role

As the CNM Outreach Coordinator, your role is pivotal in driving awareness and engagement for CNM, empowering job seekers through our CNM ONLINE, CNM LIVE!, and Job Search Teams programs. You will work individually and collaboratively with volunteers to accomplish the following tasks:


  • Partner with CNM Leadership to craft and execute an outreach strategy that establishes relationships and communication channels with various organizations and individuals.

  • Identify organizations such as churches, community groups, other job search support organizations, businesses, and individuals who serve demographics that could benefit from our services.

  • Identify a contact person and create a comprehensive database that includes contact information for each identified organization, along with their preferred method of communication.

  • Maintain regular contact with the identified organizations, ensuring they are well-informed about CNM's regularly scheduled events and any special initiatives.

  • Reach out to contacts from other organizations to inform them of CNM services and encourage them to promote CNM to their members.

  • Collaborate with the Program Director to develop compelling outreach materials, including emails, digital brochures, and social media posts, strategically designed to advertise CNM's offerings.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for CNM to forge partnerships with other organizations, leveraging these collaborations to expand and enhance our services for our attendees.

The Outreach Coordinator will be committed to Career Network Ministry’s mission and have

  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude

  • Ability to work individually and with a team

  • Ability to communicate professionally and serve as a positive representative of CNM over the phone and in person

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate well and effectively build relationships with a range of different people

  • Capacity to meet deadlines as well as the ability to be flexible

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
